Toca Life Stories is an animated cartoon, based on the Toca Boca game “Toca Life”. I together with Viktor Khan lead the developement of the animated series. We directed the look, animation style, tonality, the humour and even the personalities of the main characters. The wonderful characters and scenes are to a large degree illustrated by Daniel Abensour. The two pilot episodes are entirely animated by me and Viktor Khan. Once the pilots were done, we managed to get funding to create an additional 40 episodes, together with the Toronto based animation studio, Pipeline Studios. It was a real honour to bring the characters and world of Toca Life into this animated format.
